Serve with us
Church
There are a number of ways to serve within our church- from Sunday mornings to special events to general care for one another. Each month we will highlight 1 or 2 opportunities to serve within our church.
Community
Our Women’s Ministry is focusing on one main partnership for this year: Tuscaloosa Angels Love Box ministry. Click the button below to learn more about Tuscaloosa Angels and how you can get involved!
World
Through the direction of our Missions Committee, Trinity supports several missionaries both locally and around the world. To help us better connect with our Missionaries, we will highlight a few of them throughout the year.

Other ways to Serve on Sundays:
Contact Robin Lake for more info on each of the options below.
Nursery
Our church has been blessed with a very full nursery! And because of that, we could use more volunteers on Sunday mornings to help our directors. Even if you can only help one Sunday this semester, it would be welcome! Sign up here.
Communion committee
We will be having communion for the Good Friday service on April 7th, if you are interested in helping out.
Welcome Center
Come and be a part of welcoming folks after our service. It's easy and you meet some great folks.
TPP
Would you consider helping our TPP teachers in some capacity? There are lots of small ways you can serve.

community
We are so excited to support fostering families in our community through Tuscaloosa Angels. The mission of Tuscaloosa Angels is to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.
How our congregation is getting involved
Love Box Partnership
We are helping support one of our small groups who are matched with a foster mom and her grandchildren (kinship placement.) The foster mom lost her legs in an accident several years ago and is unable to drive. The kids ride the bus to school and use a van service for necessary appointments. There are 3 girls ranging in age from 8-12.

David & Erin Pervis
Our Missionaries of the Month are David & Erin Pervis. The Pervises serve with MTW in Athens, Greece.
Get to Know the Pervises
David and Erin have served with Mission to the World (MTW) for 24 years. They became Christians as children. They were married in 1996. Since 1999, they have served on MTW teams in Sofia, Bulgaria, Kyiv, Ukraine, and Athens, Greece, using English instruction as an avenue for evangelism in church planting with national pastors. In 2018, they joined an MTW church planting team in Athens to assist the Greek Evangelical Church in the suburb of Glyfada in their care of refugees from the Middle East and Central Asia. They continue to give English instruction to refugees, share in their daily lives, and offer opportunities to hear the gospel and study the Bible in their own languages. Erin also volunteers with the Nea Zoi (New Life) ministry in their outreach and service to individuals caught up in prostitution and human trafficking in Athens.

Serve Through Prayer
One the most important things we can do for our missionaries is pray for them regularly! It may seem small, but it is a great privilege to intercede for others in prayer. Consider printing their photo off or write their name on a card and place it somewhere you will see regularly!
Here are few specific ways to pray:
1. Pray for the continued growth of the believing refugee families at the the Voula House and for the Muslim families to come to Christ. Pray for the Sunday night Bible study there and weekly women’s handwork meetings at the Glyfada Church to be use by God toward those ends.
2. Pray for the growth and outreach of the Greek Evangelical Church of Glyfada and for the Lord’s leading through Pastor George Tolias.
3. Pray for Nea Zoi outreaches on the streets and in the Brothels of Athens every week. Pray for deliverance and salvation for these women and men who are victims of human trafficking and prostitution.
4. Pray for spiritual and physical protection for our grown children Clara, Josiah and Josiah’s wife Hannah. Pray for Clara to pass her clinical procedures demonstrations and two Board Exams to be fully certified in Respiratory Therapy this summer and for God to bless Josiah as he starts music composition graduate school at Temple University this fall.
5. For our Home Ministry Assignment (Jan 19 - July 23), pray for Erin and for me for strength and open doors as we visit our supporting churches, supporters and family. Pray God will make us a blessing, encourage those who hear us and use us to challenge many to go to the fields that are white to harvest. Pray for our smooth return to Greece on July 24.
