An Update on Covid

From the Session

Dear Trinity Family,

Our session has been looking forward to and is excited about the fall semester and the start of the school year. The rising infection rates and the increased hospitalizations due to Covid-19 are a concern. We are thankful for the vaccine and that it protects most from serious illness, but some are still vulnerable and there is much that we do not know.

After thinking, praying, and consulting with doctors in our church we would like to lead in the following ways on Sunday mornings:

1.We welcome the wearing of masks. We will not require masks, but we respect the decision of many to wear masks to protect themselves and others.
2.We will have one Adult Sunday School Community in which masks are required. All who prefer to wear a mask are invited to the 60+ community. Any who wish not to wear a mask are welcome to join another community.
3.We ask all to manage their own risk and that of those around them. If you are more vulnerable to serious illness, feel free to remain at home. We will do our best to provide the best ministry resources we can online and in smaller groups. Please let us know how we can help.
4.If you are experiencing symptoms that might be related to Covid-19, please stay home to care for yourself and prevent the possible spread to others. If you are scheduled to volunteer, let someone know and we’ll make sure you are covered.

Friends, thank you for praying for us as we do our best to oversee and shepherd the church we love. Please join us in praying for an end to the pandemic and that God would use this season to draw us and many others closer together and to Himself.

With much love and affection,

Richard, for the Session
